Our mission is to increase our members’ accessibility to high quality affordable childcare. The fund works to offer a variety of programs for fund-eligible TWU Local 100 members that will meet their childcare needs. The TWU Local 100 NYCTA Childcare Fund is dedicated to assisting parents in integrating their work and family responsibilities.
Below is a summary of the eligibility rules for the TWU Local 100 NYCTA Child Care Fund. For complete Plan rules, call and speak to a Fund respresentative. Eligibility for benefits from the Plan depends upon the particular collective bargaining agreement or participation covering your employment.
STEP 1
✔ Am I an active TA/OA or MTA Bus employee represented by TWU?
✔ Have I completed 90 days of employment (with the exception of the Newborn Stipend)?
✔ Am I an active Local 100 member in good standing?
✔ Do I have legal guardianship or a dependent 12 years and under?
*If you answered YES to all of the above questions, go on to STEP 2.
*If you answered NO to any of the above questions, you are ineligible. Call the Fund for more details.
STEP 2
Apply online during Registration period (February & March)
The following documents must be uploaded with your application:
✔ Child(ren) original Birth Certificate(s).
✔ Child(ren) original Social Security Card(s).
✔ Child(ren) Health Insurance Card(s).
✔ Member’s last two (2) pay stubs.
