Your Right To Know:
New FMLA Administrator - Dept. of Buses.
Beginning September 13th, 2020 (previously August 9th, 2020), WorkPartners will replace the BSC as the MTA’s FMLA Administrator for the Department of Buses/MTA Bus.
What Does This Mean?
1. All open/pending FMLA applications will be transferred to WorkPartners.
2. If you have any FMLA related questions you must call WorkPartners (phone number below).
3. To request new FMLA leave, you must call WorkPartners.
What Will Change?
In the Dept. of Buses, beginning on August 9th, 2020 if you need to use FMLA you will no longer call the Crew Dispatcher, you must call WorkPartners (phone number below). WorkPartners will then contact the depot to inform them of your absence.
How Can I Contact WorkPartners?
Phone: (833) 281-5602
Fax: (844) 356-3126
E-mail: NYCTAfmla@workpartners.com
Address:
PO Box 2840
Pittsburgh, PA 15230
You will need to know your BSC ID number when you call WorkPartners, this can be found on your paystub. Once this system goes live, it goes without saying that relying on a third-party to inform the depot of your absence may result in false AWOL’s, please ensure to keep detailed records (I.e. screenshot of your phone log) of when you call out for FMLA related reasons through WorkPartners.
